How long does it take?
3 months is the minimum recommended time to start shifting chronic stress patterns and most clients continue going monthâtoâmonth until they feel stabilised again.
Many clients stay in session on an ad-hoc basis, others opt for ongoing in depth psychotherapy. The pay-as-you-go monthly style structure gives you complete flexibility on how long you want to engage in the 1:1 burnout solution.

Why not use my companies EAP/PMI?
Most employee assistance programmes and private medical insurance are designed for shortâterm support, typically around 6â12 sessions with a therapist allocated from their directory.
This support can be a helpful starting point, but many clients find it isnât enough on its own: itâs not tailored to burnoutârelated issues and often stays at a surface level, offering general counselling or CBT rather than deeper, sustained work on the patterns driving their burnout.

Do I have to do exercises, homework or a course?

What is burnout?
Burnout isnât just âfeeling stressed.â Itâs a recognised occupational syndrome (WHO) involving exhaustion, detachment, and reduced effectiveness.
Clinical frameworks (ICD-11, DSM-5) help define it, but your lived experience matters just as much. If you feel depleted, stuck, and unlike yourself, thatâs data too.

What is chronic stress?
Chronic stress happens when your bodyâs stress response stays switched on for too long. Itâs not one bad week or a tough project, itâs the constant hum of tension, overthinking, and emotional fatigue that never fully releases.
Clinically, itâs linked to dysregulation in the nervous system and consistently elevated cortisol. Our goal is to down regulate your stress response so it starts to see safety and challenge instead of threat and danger.
What is high-functioning anxiety?
The sister of perfectionism, high-functioning anxiety makes you look composed, productive, and capable – but on the inside, thereâs a constant push driven by worry, self-doubt, or the fear of failing.
